Brent is a past-President of Acting Up as well as being a busy director, set designer/ builder, and actor.  He has acted in several productions with the Lebanon Theatre Company, including Pal Joey, Taking Steps, Putting It Together (for which he won an Orchid Award for Excellence in Vocals) and Most Happy Fella (as Chef Giuseppe), and their annual GalaHe has also appeared in the Loveland Stage Company’s Annie Get Your Gun (as "Pawnee Bill"); in Mason Community Players' Scrooge the Musical (as "Scrooge", for which he won 2 Orchid Awards: Excellence in Acting and Excellence in Singing), and in Cole; and in Children’s Theatre of Mason’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (as "Willy Wonka") and Brieabi's production of Seussical (as "Cat in the Hat.")

 

Brent has received Orchids for Excellence in Direction for Acting Up's 2010 production of The Wizard of Oz, as well as nominations for Acting Up's Disney's Alice and Wonderland Jr., and Honk, Jr.  Brent has also won Orchid awards for his set designs for Acting Up's productions of Disney's Mulan Jr. and The Wizard of Oz and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.

 

During the theater “off hours,” Brent acts as a patent attorney for The Procter & Gamble Company.
